My Quarantine Experience

Title

My Quarantine Experience

Description

I created a sketch that shows the impact the pandemic has had on me today. Within this one picture there are a few smaller images I have created to show the how I feel today. The top left is a stack of school books, which is outside the fish bowl to show how I feel like I am losing out on opportunities to enhance my learning because I have to be learning virtually. In the top left is a rose with music notes to illustrate how I do not get the opportunity to see concerts in person and do what was once “normal life” things in todays world. The bottom left is a cap to represent school and further the missed opportunities. In the bottom right is a silhouette of a family to show how I miss my distant family members especially during this time of year where normally I would get to share special moments with them all. Finally the middle is a sad fish within a fishbowl with a roof. The sad fish is how I am full right now during this pandemic, I am sad and feel isolated from all the people that I would normally be around. I have the roof on the fishbowl because the only place that I am is home, and for a fish their fishbowl is their home. Within my home I only see my family depending on the day it can be a good or a bad thing. I feel this is a good primary source because it shows how I feel right now during the pandemic and the visuals directly correlate to that. I think this best shows how I am feeling because it physically shows the isolation as well as the gloomy, depressing feeling I have during these difficult times.
