Sunday April 15, 1883 At home in forenoon went down to river bottom in after noon. river quite high. Cold N.W. wind almost a gale light squalls of snow and rain.

Monday April 16, 1883 Roger and I went up Dewshau and plowed around hay shed got home at one o'clock Roger draged some this after noon, some of the land in very good condition for sowing, Ricd 35 cts for marking [mortload?] filing. Quite a stiff breeze forenoon the west not very cold.

Tuesday April 17, 1883 Choring about the place all day Roger draged in forenoon, sowed about 5 sacks, still and cloudy, sprink-led by spells in after noon
