The image that I painted is my personal computer on a Facetime call with 2020, in place of an actual person. Early on in quarantine my friends and I called each other over Facetime quite often and the imagery in the painting is based off one of our calls. In place of my friends faces I included many events and relevant imagery to my life that had been completely uprooted because of the coronavirus. My painting offers viewers the chance to learn about life during COVID and that joy can still be found in many activities despite the devastating circumstances.
