Collected Item: “Birthday Celebrations”

What type of object are you contributing?

Image

Provide a brief title for the object you are contributing.

Birthday Celebrations

Provide us with a brief description of this object and, if it is not obvious, how it connects with the Chippewa Valley. For example, if this object is an image describe for us what the image displays and why it is significant.

Celebrating a colleague's birthday looks different than before. Balloons need pumps instead of mouths. Colleagues visit from afar instead of sharing. As safely as possible, the task still gets done. Conversation that evening included, virtual programs we participated in, how mice can give you diseases similar to COVID-19, whether or not the school district will close, and how wonderful it is to do something for someone who deserves it.

When was this item created? Please use a "month day, year" format, for example, "April 10, 2020."
