- This image was created after my cousin and then-fiancé had to postpone their wedding multiple times and decided to have a non-official wedding with their bridesmaids on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Looking at the photo, I am the one immediately to the left of the bride. My character has short hair because I had shaved my own head in a moment of pandemic frustration and no obligations tying me to a societal standard of females needing longer hair in professional settings to be generally respected/taken seriously as I was in isolation.
