The Not so Happy Holidays

For my primary source, I decided to write a sonnet. A sonnet is a type of poem and mine is about how the Coronavirus has affected the holiday season this year. Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite holidays but Corona has made it difficult to celebrate and is what I chose to portray in my poem. The reason why I love these holidays so much is that I get to spend time with family and friends, however, the Coronavirus has made these things very difficult. I also include how I’ve experienced a recent death due to Corona and how it’s been hard to get through that especially since it happened during the holiday season, my favorite time of the year.
