Title

Bullet Journal

Description

Reflection:
I chose to represent my experiences through the pages of my bullet journal. My bullet journal is used almost daily, and I believe it to be a good representation of my daily life during the past year or so. To more express my experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, I included two journal entries written to my son who was born June of 2019. These entries help verbalize the strain we experienced in raising our first child through defining years of his life in the midst of a pandemic.
This submission is a primary source, because it contains an original, first-hand account of a mother, student, and wife during the 2020 and 2021 years of the COVID-19 pandemic. I believe future researchers and students could learn more about the ins and outs of an average schedule of a 24 year old who was a college student, part-time employee, mother, and wife. Like the analyzing of written and visual primary sources we have done in this course, future researchers and students will have to interpret the journal entries to my son and the information written in the bullet journal, such as the monthly, weekly, and daily spreads.
