Activism in a Pandemic

Title

Activism in a Pandemic

Description

This project reflects the influence that the pandemic had on a protest in Sheboygan, WI. This collage of photographs was taken on May 30th, 2020, about five days after the tragic event that took George Floyd’s life in Minneapolis, MN. The pandemic had been in full swing by this point in time, but that did not stop the people from this community from gathering to vocalize their support for bringing justice to Floyd. The event itself was led by two brothers (the two men who held the megaphone) who spent the roughly 2 hours expressing their disgust towards what had happened and their own experience with prejudice in their lives.
