Relevant text reads: "Last week a Mr. Clark Peterson who drove Milk Rig 3 yr for papa, 25 yrs ago, came to see us last week from his farm, 4 miles from Owen. His wife died from effects of the Flu. [illegible word] with a blood vessel bursting in head some weeks after recovery, while walking about the house. They have 2 boys and 2 girls oldest 37 and youngest 23. Oldest Daughter trained Nurse at Superior came home to care for Mother and rest of Family while sick. He cannot get over his loss and so Family sent him to Eau Claire to visit old friends."
