"Commissioner Leonard presented the report of the school nurse for the month of November and recommended that the same be placed on file.
Commissioner Thomas moved that all children attending school from homes in which there is influenza be excluded from school and that the board of health be requested to furnish the secretary of the board with the names of all families having influenza. Carried."

"Supt. Clark presented the following recommendation in regard to making up the time lost during the enforced closing for influenza. That the Christmas vacation be shortened one week, eliminate the one week spring vacation, shorten each semester one week and run two weeks into June. Commissioner Leonard moved that the recommendation of Supt. Clark be adopted. Carried."
